Frequently Asked Questions

We will ensure that we adhere strictly to government guidelines for tourism operators to minimise risk to our travellers, staff and operators.

What this will mean:

  • We will be doing everything we can to reduce the risk of transmission and we will be playing it safe. Social distancing is possible at all times.
  • Travellers will be required to sign a declaration of health prior to beginning the tour.
  • Surfaces inside the bus will be wiped down regularly.
  • Hand sanitizer will also be available

Vaccinated or not, we want everyone and anyone to be able to join our tours! We can ensure that all our tour leaders are fully vaccinated but as a guest you do not need to be vaccinated.

If you test positive for COVID-19 whilst on tour with us, you will have to leave the tour and isolate for 7 days. You will have to stay at a certified accommodation that allows you to isolate. You will need to find transport to and from the isolation accommodation. In the case of group tour participants, the remainder of the group will be able to continue if they test negative.

But of course, we will provide support and assistance with finding accommodation that allows our guests to isolate and provide support and assistance with finding transport to and from the decided isolation facility for you.

We will not be able to cover the costs for isolation facilities or transport services. This should be covered in your travel insurance. This may mean you will have to pay for the costs up front and contact your travel insurance provider for reimbursement.

If you are travelling on a group tour, you will need to contact us to ascertain if you can return to the group tour or make arrangements to travel back to your home country.

Note: this will be dependent on how many days are left on the tour and receptiveness of other group tour passengers to welcome back the positive tested travellers.

Deposits are non-refundable but you still use your deposit payment as a discount towards your next booking. But we understand that stuff happens. Full payment is not due until 14 days out from the trip departure date, so if you have paid in full before this point and things change, we will refund you in full (less the deposit).

Cancellations within 14 days of tour departure cannot be refunded. In the event that you need to cancel, for whatever reason, please get in touch directly as soon as you can.

Should you require to amend your departure date due to testing positive for COVID-19, our flexi-booking policy allows you to change your tour start date for free up to 7 days before your tour departs. If you would like to amend your booking, please get in touch directly as soon as you can.
